Surrounded by Michigan, Wisconsin, and Northern Illinois, Chicago enjoys a rich culture of apples. Cider is naturally Chicago’s drink of choice, for celebrating and keeping warm through the cold Windy City winters. It is home to boasting Right Bee Cider and now open Eris Cider House, as well as The Northman, Chicago’s first cider bar, and countless bars and restaurants with truly delicious cider.

Chicago Cider Week is an absolutely unique opportunity to spend time with and learn from makers, growers, and cider drinkers. We foresee nothing less but a robust list of events for every cider lover, including tastings at bars and restaurants across the city, community gatherings, and educational opportunities.

Happy Cider Drinking!

The week-long festival was originally conceived in 2017 as a grassroots movement to cater the growing need of Chicago's cider community. Expectations were overwhelmingly surpassed with over a thousand attendees from all over the country. Chicago Cider Week's main goal is to highlight, promote, and inform the community about where and how to enjoy Chicago’s many cider offerings.  Stay tuned as our Second Cider Week rolls around, February 12th to 17th, 2018.
